One of the things I want to be best at is knowing the Word of God. It is our armor against the enemy, it calls things into being, it heals, it sanctifies, it saves lives. So what I have done is gone through Scripture and obtained those verses I feel I need to know, but that every Christian benefits from knowing. So over the next few weeks, I will be sharing them according to the book they are in from Genesis to Revelation. I challenge you to begin this year arming yourself with the Word. Week to Week I will post scripture for memorization.
The best way to learn scripture is to first meditate on it. Chew it up and get all the spiritual nutrients out of it. Then memorize the address. Next, say it three times wrapping it up with the address before and after. Try to do this about once a day, then twice a day, then three times a day. When you memorize the next scripture go back when you are finished and repeat the last one you learned. In this way, you plant the seed of the word in your heart and mind. God bless you in your effort in taking this challenge. Remember you are not alone. I am right here with you applying each verse or verses to my heart and mind.
