10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
I lay my head down on the desk and I weep.
I am listening to a song by Stephen Curtis Chapman I have never heard before.
The lyrics touch me deep inside my heart.
It is from an album I added to my playlist. The Glorious Unfolding.
It begins to play as I pick up a piece of art given to me by some amazing women I met in an upscale resale store in Tennessee. (More on that later:))
I never expected that I would meet them let alone learn how remarkable they are and just how great their story was or how Jesus was unfolding a glorious ministry in their lives that was touching so many others.
That would touch even me. A girl from central Virginia.
I listened to the lyrics of the song as I remembered them telling us (beautiful writer friends I got to meet that weekend face to face too) how important our story was, and how important using our voice was in the world.
Friends, we are masterpieces. You are a masterpiece. To be revealed in the most amazing glorious unfolding Jesus story.

Listen to these lyrics. I recommend a tissue. Let them sink in deep because they speak truth.
There is only one and only you.
