The Psalms: Poetry on Fire {A Book Review}

There are several versions and translations of the Bible.  In fact there are many that have come out in the last few years.

I have had the privilege of reviewing a refreshing translation called The Passion Translation.

The Lord is my Fierce Protector and my Pastor.

I always have more than enough.

 He offers a resting place for me In his luxurious love.

His tracks take me to an oasis of peace,

The quiet brook of bliss.

That’s where he restores and revives my life.

He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure,

And leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness,

So that I can bring honor to his name.

Psalm 23 1-3 tPt

I have been so blessed by the expansion of the Psalms without a deviation from the original language of the text, and wished to share a bit with you.

It is one I believe the original authors of the Psalms would be excited about.

I highly recommend this translation as a refreshing change for any saint that is looking to read the scriptures with fresh eyes.

Something else I love about this translation is that the books are separated from one another and easy to hold in your hands.

They are easy to take with you when you are on the go, and easy to share with a friend.

I pray you enjoy this translation and that the book properly entitled The Psalms Poetry on Fire will ignite a new passion for God’s Word in you.
