Let us continue our quest for an audience of One in all we think, do, and say. Today, we will focus on the truth that we are approved of by God.

Knowing that you already have the approval of God is so very important to your life! If you live with a conscious belief that you have to please God, then you are not in full understanding of all He has done for you. When you come before your audience of One, He doesn’t see you like you see you. He sees His only begotten Son, and the work that He finished when He died on the cross and was raised again. He sees you as the righteousness of God in Christ.
In those moments when you are doubting your ability and approval, recall what God said about Jesus:
17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17
Although we should be aware there is much in our life that needs changing to conform to the image of Christ, we have to hold on to the truth that we are approved of. The Holy Spirit is working out our sanctification. He is responsible for leading us into that conformity. Jesus is the author and perfector of our faith.
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
When we make a conscious effort to conform our will to His, standing as our intercessor before God He completes our faith. So we can be called the righteousness of God in Christ. Our state of being. Not doing.
Our freedom in Christ is expressed in remembering that we do what we can do, God will do what we can’t do. Therefore, we can stand boldly before our audience of One.
21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Never forget Jesus died for you before even one of your sins had been committed. He approved of you then, and thought that you were to die for Beloved! ❤ Melinda
