Our focus on Thursdays has been living and loving for our audience of One. Let’s turn our eyes upon Jesus…
Today in my personal walk with God I begin a long awaited healing process I have been waiting for. Waiting for, for over a year. I feel as though I am in a doctors office awaiting His entrance. It is cold, unfamiliar, and it seems my heart is dressed in a gown that shows everything.
I am not as concerned about God walking in the room as I am those who assist Him. Insecurity beckons me to run, and yet I stay.
The rooms of my heart have been frequently blessed by the presence of the Lord. Although I don’t know all of what to expect, I know my hearts pounding stills in His presence and there will be an inexplicable peace to come.
Alone in this place waiting on my Healer and audience of One, I feel fear, but doing this afraid opens the door to His comfort.
It opens the door to His ability to operate without hands.
Have you ever waited for the audience of One through fear of the unknown?
They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Wait on H.I.M. and not the healing. Wait on H.I.M. and not the answers. Wait on the audience of One.
(This series will continue on December 26. Until then we will focus on our Audience of One as the Greatest Gift of all.)
