In considering our audience of One, Jesus, and His glorious names, I have chosen El-ohim ( Genesis 1:1)
El Mighty, Powerful, Strong
Ohim God the Creator.
Of all the things that attract me to God, His creation is the most intoxicating. To me, there is no question there is a God, when you consider the heavens, the earth, and what is in them.
Just this morning He reminded me how to trust Him through His creation. A sparrow hopped around the ground gathering what God had provided. The only work it did was receiving what had been furnished by God. Revelation came from an encounter with this small and excellent creation. All I need to do is receive from my Creator.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
…..from NOTHING, He created them and they are still held together by the power of the words He spoke then.
And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17 ESV
What did you think the last time you saw a beautiful sunset…
, a glorious waterfall…
, a newborn baby…
, or flowers in bloom?
Did you know that there are stars bigger than the sun? Oh, Yes There Are!
What is even more remarkable is when you look at the little things. Like the fact that water vapor is forming the clouds, photosynthesis is happening in plants, and the cells are functioning and replicating in our bodies simultaneously.
How can we deny a Creator?
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:18-20
When we look at creation we can’t deny El-Ohim, Beloved. Even if we have not heard of God , we have seen His creation. ❤ Melinda
