Who is our audience of One? How would you answer that question? For the remainder of our living and loving for Him, let us turn our eyes upon who He is.
The names of God are many! They reveal who He is. By exploring them we can become more acquainted with Him, and the sweetness of our fellowship with Him will increase. Knowing that He makes us like Him from glory to glory through the power of His Spirit.

He Is, Always Has Been, and Always Will Be……
El-ohim ( Genesis 1:1) Mighty, Powerful, Strong God the Creator.
El-Elyon (Genesis 14:18, 20) Most High God, Possessor of heaven and earth.
Adonai (Genesis 15:2) My Lord, My Master, My Owner.
El-Olan (Genesis 21:33) Everlasting God. Signifying permanence of covenant.
El-Roi Genesis 16:13) The God Who Sees.
El-Shaddai (Genesis 17:1-2) Mighty, Powerful, Strong God Who supplies and satisfies.
Jehovah-Jireh (Genesis 22:14) The Lord my Provider.
Jehovah (Exodus 3:14) “I AM” Personal and intimate name of The Lord.
Jehovah-Raphe or Rophe (Exodus 15:22-26) The Lord my Healer.
Jehovah-Nissi (Exodus 17:15-16) The Lord my Deliverer and Banner.
Jehovah-Ganna (Exodus 34:14) (pronounced kan/naw) The Lord is Jealous.
Jehovah-m’Kaddesh (Leviticus 20:7-8) The Lord my Sanctifier
Jehovah-Shalom (Judges 6:24) The Lord my Peace
Jehovah-Sabaoth (1 Samuel 1:3) The Lord of The Armies of Heaven
Jehovah-Rohe or Raah (Psalm 23) The Lord My Shepherd.
Jehovah-Tsidkenu (Jeremiah 23:5-6) (pronounced sid/ken’/nu) The Lord My Righteousness.
El-Gabor (Jeremiah 32:17-19) Mighty God.
Jehovah-Shammah (Ezekiel 48:35) The Lord is There. (In and among us!)
These are only eighteen names of God, but they are a start to us becoming acquainted with Him by name.
Use the names of God in prayer to begin to renew your mind with who you come before boldy. We are invited into His presence. Considering who He is, that is some presence.
Remember Jesus’ question of Peter, “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:13)
