Kingdom living begins with living for the King! During the next month I want to invite you to join me in captivating an Audience of One.
31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Cor 10:31 (NKJV)
By exploring the topic of the Audience of One we are opening ourselves to the freedom and excitement of His approval of all we do. Remembering that He is our continuous audience of One. Join me here for what it looks like to live and love for the King.

Really y’all I’m just another Samaritan woman seeking living water and pouring out where I see need for encouragement. I am 48, mother to four girls ages 16-26, Gigi to the most handsome 2-year-old little boy, Fibromyalgia warrior, minister, writer, and a lifetime learner.
I am writing my first book, slowly but surely, six chapters in, as our blessed first love has called me to share His glory in my story. I feel lost in that familiar desert place, and thankful for the manna that is there miraculously every day. I am overcoming hour by hour the condemning voices of the enemy and learning to love myself. It has been an arduous journey. This wordsmith journey, but so worth it.
I became a licensed minister in 2010. However, I do not currently work in the ministry. I share Christ's love through devotional blogging. I have a degree in Church Ministry, was pursuing my degree in Christian Care and Counseling at Oral Roberts University, but now am pursuing Life Coaching, and Neurolinguistic Programming Master Practioner Certifications and a business license.
I am a certified women’s biblical counselor through the Extraordinary Women's program at Light University. I am working on their Addiction and Recovery program now too. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment with a wealth of life experiences with which I can minister comfort to others.
I'm a lover of a good book, writing, singing, and music, and my nemesis is the perpetual laundry pile.
Blessings to you and yours,
<3Melinda

Reblogged this on Beloved Hope Endures and commented:
The Jewish New Year began this week with the celebration of Rosh Hashanah. The beginning of the year on God’s calendar. This morning my pastor encouraged us to seek the Lord, and to ask Him to increase our desire for Him. He said, and I am paraphrasing that, “Wrong desires, lead to wrong direction, and wrong direction leads to wrong destiny. Therefore, let this be a time for us to increase our desire for God.”
When we begin to pursue God then we will come to desire Him more and more because as we draw near to Him, He draws near to us.
With ungodly desires we turn from what God desires, which is our pursuit of HIm, not what He does, or can do, but God Himself, to things we have been tempted to follow due to our own lusts. The problem is there is never enough to filI us up. Only God can do that.
If we wish to seek direction then we must pursue the one who gives it.
I have a history of addiction. I know how easily it is for me to turn towards something other than God to fill me. I have at times desired the blessings of God and not the Blesser. The healing and not the Healer. The provision and not the Provider, etc.
We can forget that He is our audience. I often tell my children that they have no one to impress. They need only be concerned about what God thinks. He is the audience that matters. So I am taking this month to recount the journey I took over a year ago in pursuing an audience of One. Weekly there will be posts from this series. I pray as you seek the Audience of One the presence of God will so bless you and be life changing in this season of your life. ❤ Melinda
