My Pastor gives us a big laugh from the pulpit every time he talks about food. Why? Well, it is inevitable. Usually he mentions one specific restaurant in town:
See what I mean, I didn’t even have to look that up (awesome cheese-steak by the way). He uses food as examples as it comes up in various ways while preaching.
The other day my husband and I were treated to a lunch at Five Guys. I had heard my Pastor preach on a “more than enough” God using the fries as an example, but had not had such an experience until then. We ordered a large fry to share. When the bag got to the table we opened it up to reveal a fry filled bag. We had to dig for the container the order was supposed to come in. I know it is hard to picture so I am including a picture to express our gratitude.

We literally could not eat them all, there were so many. Well, that is what God is talking about when He does exceedingly, abundantly,. above all you can ask or think. He just keeps pouring in more. Until He thinks it will blow your mind when you open the bag.
This week a dear Sister in Christ, Holley, has shared an entry from her new book about Enough, and I want to invite you over to her post to reveal more about God’s heart for you. Click on Enough Beloved, and know that your cup is running over this week with more than enough of all the blessings that God can spill into and out of the bag for you!
